Directions to UW-Platteville
From Milwaukee, Wisconsin
- Go approximately 75 miles on Highway 94 West to Madison
- In Madison, take the exit for Hwy 90 to Chicago/Janesville
- Follow Hwy 90 to the next exit, which is 12/18
- Follow Hwy 12/18 west until you get to US Hwy 18/151 to Dodgeville
- Go west on US Hwy 18/151 approximately 70 miles to Platteville
- Take Exit 18 and turn right to follow Business Hwy 151
- In approximately a 1/2 mile, turn left onto S. Chestnut St./ Cty Rd. D
- Access to the general UWP Campus
- Turn left onto Gridley Ave.
- At stop sign, turn right onto Southwest Rd.
- Take an immediate left onto Jay St.
- At the stop sign, continue straight into Parking Lot 6
- Parkings Lots 3, 3A, 4, 5, and 6 are all interconnected
- Access to the Heartland Festival
- Follow S. Chestnut Street to the second stop light (Main St.)
- Turn left onto Main St.
- Continue straight through the first stop sign (Hickory St.)
- Once through the stop sign, the Center for the Arts will be the second building on the left

- In Monroe, turn left onto the on-ramp for Hwy 11 West
- Continue on Hwy 11 West for approximately 60 miles
- Turn right onto Hwy 80
- Continue North on Hwy 80 for approximately 11 miles to Platteville
- At the first stop light in Platteville, turn left onto Business Hwy 151
- Turn right onto Staley Ave. (by McDonalds®)
- Go two (2) blocks, turn left onto Gridley Ave
- Access to the general UWP Campus
- At stop sign continue straight on Gridley Ave.
- At stop sign, turn right onto Southwest Rd.
- Take an immediate left onto Jay St.
- At the stop sign, continue straight into Parking Lot 6

- At stop sign, turn right onto S. Chestnut St.

From Minneapolis, Minnesota
- Take US-52 south approximately 60 miles to Rochester, MN.
- Follow UW-52 around Rochester
- Shortly after Rochester, turn left onto the ramp for I-90 East
- Go approximately 61 miles on I-90 East
- Take Exit 3A and follow WI-53/Great River Rd South
- WI-53 turns into Hwys 14/61/35
- Continue south on Great River Road through LaCrosse (approximately 8 miles) and turn left on US-14 east/US-61 South
- Continue on US-14 East/US-61 South approximately 39 miles, turn right on Soldiers Grove Road/US-61
- Continue on US-61 South another 44 miles
- Turn left on WI-129 and go approximately 3 miles
- Turn left on US-61 South and go approximately 1 mile
- Turn left on WI-81 East
- Follow WI-81 for approximately 11 miles to Platteville
- Once in Platteville, continue to follow WI-81 to the first stop light (Main St.)
- Access to the general UWP Campus
- Continue straight through the first stoplight
- At the second stop light, go straight continuing on S. Chestnut St.
- At stop sign, turn right onto Southwest Rd.
- Continue for about 1/4 mile, turning right onto Jay St.
- At the stop sign, continue straight into Parking Lot 6

- At the stop light turn right onto Main St.
